Why photos matter

Shoppers decide in under 3 seconds whether to click your item. A clean photo beats a low price every time.

The 5 rules

1. Daylight, not lamps. Shoot near a window, not in the evening.
2. Neutral background. A white tablecloth or bedsheet works.
3. Multiple angles. Front, back, side, close-up.
4. Show damage honestly. Stains, tears, missing buttons — photograph them up close.
5. At least 1200 px wide. Anything smaller looks pixelated.
